First Regional Symposium on Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries in the Mediterranean and Black Sea, held in Malta last November. Organized by the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (
GFCM) and FAO, in partnership with CIHEAM Bari, MedPAN, WWF and in collaboration with the Government of Malta, this was the first time that interested stakeholders could bring their opinions and ideas to the fore at a regional level.
